2011 Spring Clean-up and Recycling Day was a Success !
Many Dingman Township residents took advantage of the 2011 Spring Clean-up and Electronics Recycling Day. Turnout was lower than most years thanks to some of the larger communities holding their own clean-up days, however, 95 vehicles passed through the gates loaded with material to be recycled or disposed of. A summary of the materials collected:
To Be Recycled:
Electronics (TVs, Computers, etc) 168 items
Including:
21 Computers
18 Printers
15 Computer Monitors
12 VCRs /DVDs
28 Televisions
Mixed metals 60 yards
White goods (washers, dryers, etc.) 8 items
To Be Disposed of:
Assorted Rubbish 240 yards
If you missed Spring Clean-up Day, there will be another one this Fall. And, don't forget, you can bring your household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, hearing aid, etc.) and cell phones to the Township Building for recycling Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:00. Thank you to all the Dingman Township residents who brought in material for disposal/recycling and to ...
