STATE OF EMERGENCY DELCLARED FOR DINGMAN TOWNSHIP
3/25/20
From the Dingman Township Board of Supervisors:
As of noon today, there are 9 documented cases of
COVID-19 in Pike County. We presume that at some point in time some of
these cases will be in Dingman Township.
In an abundance of caution, due to the increasing
number of documented COVID-19 cases in our area, and in following with the
previous Declarations of Governor Wolf and the Pike County Commissioners, we are
strongly encouraging residents to follow the Pa Department of Health and CDC
recommendations to: stay at home if possible; practice social distancing
if you need to go out for necessary supplies (food, medications, etc.); and wash
your hands frequently, particularly after having been out in public places.
It is important that we all do our part to stem
the spread and to protect our loved ones and each other.
