The Kids Loved the 2014 Easter Egg Hunt !

Dingman Township Recreation Commission held their 12th annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 5th.  Despite the chill in the air, the kids came ready to hunt for eggs and to visit with the Easter Bunny.  This was the second time the event was held in the brand new Dingman Township Park.

A bit of mud replaced last year’s piles of snow but that did not deter the 275 to 300 children from romping through the playground. Eggs were spotted everywhere and there were prizes galore.

The weekend of fun did not end there. The following day the Dingman Township Volunteer Fire Department held their monthly breakfast also featuring the Rec Board's Easter Bunny.  Besides the yummy “all you can eat breakfast” with everything from cheese Danish to crispy bacon, savory sausage and a bottomless cup of coffee that the adults indulged in, the kids received balloons, coloring books and chocolate marshmallow bunnies.  Cameras clicked like crazy capturing the fun filled morning.

The Dingman Township Parks and Recreation Commission would like to thank Wal-Mart and Kmart for their donations that helped make the two events a success!
