42 Computer Monitors Collected
32 Computer Printers Collected
8 Computer Scanners Collected
72 Televisions Collected

In addition there were wireless telephones, remote controls, speakers, and hundreds of other electronic items collected. All the electronic items will be recycled by Advanced Recovery in Port Jervis NY. Not only will these items be kept out of landfills and the materials re-purposed, but the local processing will help keep local jobs and benefit our local economy.
In addition, over 100 pounds of consumer batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, etc.) were collected for recycling as well as over a half dozen car/truck/boat batteries. These will be sent to the appropriate processing facilities.
Residents are reminded that consumer batteries need not be saved for Clean-up Days. They may be dropped off between 8:30 and 3:00, workdays at the Township Offices. (Save car/truck/boat batteries for Clean-up Day.)
Dingman Township thanks all the residents that participated and for helping to keep heavy metals out of Pennsylvania's landfills.
