Township Supervisor

After interviewing seven potential candidates, Chairman Thomas Mincer and Supervisor Dennis Brink voted to appoint lifelong area resident, Edward D. Nikles to fill the vacant seat on the Dingman Township Board of Supervisors.

The vote was taken at the January 2, 2018 reorganizational meeting of the Board and was necessary to fill the vacancy that resulted due to Supervisor Kerry Welsh being elected as Pike County Sheriff.

Prior to his appointment to the Board, Supervisor Nikles was the Chairman of the Dingman Township Planning Commission and was active in reviewing subdivision and commercial development plans, proposed municipal ordinances, and provided advisory opinions to the Supervisors and Zoning Hearing Boards.

Supervisor Nikles will hold the seat for the remainder of Mr. Welsh's term which is set to expire at the end of 2019.
