State Representatives Brown and Peifer to Present 2012 Senior Expo in Dingman Township

The Senior Expo is specifically designed for residents age 55 and older, along with their families and caregivers. Informational booths will be set up so that seniors can ask questions of a variety of local, state and federal programs that are available to older Pennsylvanians.

Refreshments will be available, and admission is free. More details will be forthcoming as additional plans are being made.

Pike County Transportation has a shared ride program that seniors 65 or older may use to and from the expo. Seniors MUST call ahead at 570-296-3408 or 866-681-4947. Rates are $1 to $4 each way, up to 20 miles, and persons with disabilities age 18-64 qualify and are charged $2.25 to $6.60 each way.
