VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TAX PAYERS

There is a serious proposal before the Pennsylvania General Assembly to charge Townships for State Police Service.  The cost would vary by Township.  Dingman Township's cost would almost equal that of its current budget.  This means, if the proposal becomes law, the Township would have to double its property tax rate in return for no additional State Police service!
