ROOFING PERMITS
REQUIRED
Dingman Township requires a permit to replace
shingles on residential roofs. The following
requirements apply:
1.
A disposal (dumpster)
receipt is required.
Note: If dumpster
obtained by contractor, the property address to
which the dumpster was delivered must be
indicated on the receipt.
2.
An Ice/Water Shield
inspection is required. In lieu of a site
inspection, photos adequately identifying the house
and the amount of water shield that was installed
will be accepted.
3.
A final site
inspection will be conducted following completion of
the job and receipt of the above.
NOTE:
If sheathing and/or rafter replacement is necessary,
additional inspections will be required.
